2016-2017 Course Sequence & Instructional Materials
On the link/title above, the "Math" , "ELA/ELD" and "Sci/Soc/WL" tabs have the list of adopted instructional materials, links to the state standards and frameworks and links to Course Sequence documents if the course does not use the newly adopted HMH materials.
The course specific tabs have the current district expectations, course sequence and benchmark information for the courses using the newly adopted HMH materials. These documents are a guide, it will take all of 2016-2017 using the materials to refine the sequence and benchmarks. The HMH benchmarks are aligned to the content and not to the school calendar. IM1-IM3 benchmarks align closely with the end of quarters but the other courses do not- teachers should give the benchmarks when they cover the material. Teachers will meet throughout the year to refine the course sequence.
The HMH-District benchmarks will be given online.
